Abhishek Bachchan had dyslexia at young age, but has now fully recovered.

In Taarein Zameen Par Aamir has cited the example of Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan as someone who was dyslexic in his childhood but has now become a superstar.

The scene has Aamir showing a poster of Abhishek to the kids and saying: Aap inhe toh jaante honge, inhe bhi padhne mein problem hoti thi, lekin aaj dekho, yeh duniya mein Dhoom machaiye huye hain . After Aamir says this, the whole class breaks into the song Dhoom Machale Dhoom.

Before shooting the scene, Aamir took permission from the Bachchan family to use Abhishek's name and image.
